Team Bahrain Merida to CRO Race

  |   Press

Thursday, 26th September – This year’s race through Croatia will be held in fall – from 1st to 6th October 2019 and under a new name – CRO Race. Six stages will take riders on more than a thousand kilometres long route through Croatia. BAHRAIN MERIDA Team will be heading there with a young line-up and, as always, high goals.

Sports director of the race, Gorazd Štangelj, is confident that the BAHRAIN MERIDA line-up for CRO Race has a great potential in all aspects of the race: “We have two riders for breakaways, Domen Novak and Jan Tratnik. Haussler is perfect for a more difficult sprint finish and together with Bole an excellent helper to our leader, Mohorič. I believe we can certainly count on good results”.

Matej Mohorič will be the leader of the team at CRO Race. He has an intensive training period behind him since he is preparing for the World Championship, where he will perform on the 29th of September. “No matter what my result will be this Sunday on World Championship, I am still confident that I can ride well in Croatia, where my key goal will be GC,” he commented just a few days before the race.
