“We must be strong and smart – said Ramunas Navardauskas presenting tomorrow “Queen Stage”- and face the final climb carefully. It will be fun”.

“I do not expect long distance attacks – continued the GC “líder general “ – but only in the last 8-10 kilometers. I dont think there will be sudden actions, but it will be a competition to see who resists more. “

“The climb has not prohibitive slopes  (7% maximum in the final part) – said sport director Paulo Slongo – but it will be very hot and especially the finish at 2500 meters of altitude will make the big difference.”

Meanwhile, the today fourth stage was won at the mass sprint by Colombian Fernando Gaviria, who took his second victory in the Argentinean race.

“We controlled the race – said Valerio Agnoli, fully recovered after the fall of two days ago – and we were always in the top positions of the peloton keeping under control the daily breakaway”.
