“We are competitive – comments sport director Paolo Slongo at the end of the 7th and final stage of the Tour de Pologne – and we still have some improvement in view of Vuelta Espana.”

“The goal for the Polish race – emphasizes the Italian coach – was to check the condition after the altitude training camp at Passo San Pellegrino. The guys ran according to the current possibilities and Vincenzo Nibali centered the GC Top Ten“.

“Vincenzo – added the other sport director Gorazd Stangelj – has lost ground in today’s final, but gave interesting signals in view of the Spanish race that, it’s right to highlight it, starts in two weeks and ends in more than a month” .

The final leader jersey was won by young Belgian Dylan Teuns who preceded for only 2” the Polish Rafal Majka with our Nibali in 9th position. The Dutchman Wout Poels took the last stage ending uphill in Bukowina Tatrzańska.
