Manisa, October 13th – A bunch sprint once again at the Tour of Turkey. Stage 5 from Selçuk to Manisa (135.7km) – featuring one categorized climb – was a challenge amongst the fast men and Hodeg (Quick-Step Floors) took the win. Heinrich Haussler contested it and finished 12th.

“Today’s was a pretty relaxing day compared to yesterday,” Heino explains “Cortina wasn’t in the race today so I decided to manage to do the sprint. I haven’t done a sprint for the last two years. I didn’t really sprint, it was more positioning but it was fun and I enjoyed it. I was happy to mixing up in the final, my legs felt good and I am looking forward to next year working with sprinters in our team. The result today was maybe not so good, but I’m just happy to have been fighting in the final. All in all it was nice and a good race. Maybe tomorrow we will have a better result.”
