Tomorrow, the team will be at the start of the 16th edition of the Memorial Marco Pantani starting from Castrocaro Terme and the finish line on the Cesenatico seafront.

The route is the same as the last few years with the Montevecchio circuit with a 5km climb with an average slope of 6-8% (max 13%) to be covered three times. After the circuit, the race heads towards the sea with the finale on the Cesenatico circuit of 5km to be repeated 4 times.

For SD Franco Pellizotti that of Saturday “is a particular race with a challenging first part with many climbs and a second easy one on the plain. Vincenzo Nibali and Sonny Colbrelli will be our two leaders. Vincenzo will be able to do well in the first part, while Sonny will try to play his cards if the race ends with a sprint ”.

Happy with his second place at the Sabatini Cup last Thursday, Colbrelli is motivated to do well even on Saturday in a race he has already won in 2014: “I am satisfied with the result but above all with having found good sensations compared to the Canadian races. Now I want to continue in this way and run the “Pantani” as a protagonist even if the climbs are harder than those made at the “Sabatini”.

TBM’s line up for Marco Pantani Memorial: Vincenzo Nibali, Sonny Colbrelli, Valerio Agnoli, Mark Padun, Domen Novak, Grega Bole and Andrea Garosio.
