Winner in 2017, he finished second last year. The Brabantse Pijl is a race that suited very well to Sonny Colbrelli’s features. “It’s a tough race that needless to say I love it – comments the Italian rider – with many short climbs and an explosive finish. So far, this season I have not been very lucky in Belgium and I hope the time has come to make a good result”.

Edition 59 of the Brabantse Pijl is held on Wednesday 17 April. It’s considered the gateway to the hilly Ardennes because there are only four days to the Amstel Gold Race. The route is almost 200 kilometers and takes 31 climbs before the traditional finish line in Overijse.

Also the Belgian Dylan Teuns, Returning from the Itzulia Basque Country, will be able to make a good race: “Sonny and Dylan will be our leaders and with them a strong team motivated to repeat the good results of the past years. It’s clear that we will have to race to win and Dylan could start from afar, while Sonny will give everything in the final sprint “.

TBM’s line-up for Brabantse Pijl: Valerio Agnoli, Grega Bole, Sonny Colbrelli, Heinrich Haussler, Luka Pibernik, Dylan Teuns and Jan Tratnik.
