“When you have a good sprinter in a team, you always have a chance to win.”

“Unfortunately, Sonny missed the last corner, 1.5 kilometer to go, he lost his teammates. Tomorrow we have a good chance again, we will try it tomorrow, and we will try it until the end anyway,” commented by our sports director Philippe Mauduit.

BAHRAIN MERIDA Team was sharing part of the chasing job during the day, with our Chinese hero Mei-Yin at the front of the peloton. Colbrelli and Arashiro both finished at top 30, the uphill finish tomorrow will be another good opportunity for us.

“Coming back and race in China, I felt rather relaxed than excited comparing with the beginning of the season. Since I had joined these top-level races, I feel more comfortable in Guangxi, and this is the place I am familiar with. I think it’s the advantage of mine,” says Mei-Yin, the only local rider in this race.
