Ion and Gorka Izagirre will be the TBM leaders through their homeland race with a their strong and motivated teammates.
Alberto Volpi, TBM Sports director, gave us some clean and simple key points for the strategy: “This is one of the hardest races at the World Tour. Very warm weather conditions and hard climbs. We have Ion and Gorka Izagirre to be our leaders here. They both have shown good form at Tour de France and our objective is to win this race with a teamwork that will help the brothers. We have riders able to do a good race without big suffering and the last climb at 7 km from arrival could be decisive”.
