Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec

September 13th

FRIDAY, 13 SEP 2019

Québec > Québec, 201.6km.

“The team has worked well for almost the entire race – explains SD Gorazd Stangelj – but we missed the warm phase of the competition. As happened last year, Sonny Colbrelli suffered jet lag and in the end, he had to surrender to stronger opponents”.
The Québec city circuit was won by Australian Michael Matthews who preceded Slovakian Peter Sagan and Belgian Greg Van Avarmaet.
“When the breakaway took advantage of 6 minutes – says Valerio Agnoli – the team told to go to the front. I was ahead for ten laps recovering lap after lap. Too bad for the final, but let’s look forward to the Montreal GP”.
