Giro d’Italia

May 11th – June 2nd

TUESDAY, 21 MAY 2019

Ravenna>Modena, 145km. Sprint Finish.

“Stage number 10 was very quiet and ended with a bunch sprint. From Ravenna to Modena, 145-kilometer route entirely flat, with a stage average speed just over 40km / h.
“It was the classic stage that comes after the rest day – explains SD Alberto Volpi – and that must be interpreted without too much pressure. The boys have managed well and tomorrow will be a stage very similar to this one. There will be any particular difficulties but we need to be always careful”.
“We kept the two riders’ break under control – comments Valerio Agnoli – and then only in the last 20km did the stage move a bit. As always, our job has been to help Vincenzo stay out of troubles and everything went well”.
The Frenchman Arnaud Démare claimed the first stage tour win of his career after a bunch sprint while the Italian Valerio Conti always wears the pink jersey”.
