Dylan Teuns to ride for Team BAHRAIN MERIDA until 2020
BAHRAIN MERIDA Pro Cycling Team are delighted to announce that the Belgian rider Dylan Teuns has signed a two-year contract with our team.
“Having Dylan join our team is something which makes us at Bahrain Merida very pleased. Having such a talented rider as Dylan is a huge asset to our team” says Team BAHRAIN MERIDA General Manager Brent Copeland
Teuns has displayed his versatility with a number of exciting results and most recently – in 2017 – he took his best results of his career so far: he won the general classification at Tour de Pologne, Artic Race of Norway and Tour de Wallonie. Dylan showed to be skilled for one-day race too, as he grabs a third place at Flèche Wallone.
“We believe he has a very big potential in the future, not only with his climbing characteristics, but also to show his true talent as a GC rider, making the team even more international is also something we are excited about” adds Copeland “Dylan is very dedicated and true professional with a lot of ambitions to continually reach higher goals and this we could see with his increasing results in the past few years. We want to thank Dylan for joining our team and we looking forward to creating a good and solid future together”.
Dylan Teuns – who has spent 4 season at BMC, where he started as a trainee in 2014 – is very pleased to join our team: “I’m very happy to sign with Team BAHRAIN MERIDA as it is one of the leading squads in the world, for the race program we agreed on and the trust the management showed in me”.
