Monteveglio Valsamoggia (BO), Sunday October 7th – An attacker managed to win the Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli once again. As happened in last year’s edition, the sprinters could only fight for the second place. Unfortunately there isn’t Sonny Colbrelli to jump on the podium this time, but he took a good 13th place anyway.

“Bauke Mollema attacked in the last few Kms and he deserved today’s win. Our team leader Sonny Colbrelli contested the group sprint, but he was slightly closed with 200 meters to go” TBM Sports Director Alberto Volpi explains “Sonny was inside the group of twelve strong riders that attacked on the last climb, but there was no collaboration among them. With two kms to go the winning move of Mollema, when the group was all together. Our boys did a good team work today and we done most of what we can do”.
